One of few wine writers to have both the Master of Wine and a masters degree in journalism. Freelance writing career of more than five years with numerous clients including regular contributions to: Australian Grape Growers and Vignerons, The Drinks Business, France Magazine, Food Development Association, Hampshire View, www.winelawcentre.com, Winestate, and less regular for Decanter, Eat Out, Harpers, Institute of Masters of Wine (IMW), Wine & Spirit.

Also teaches Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Diploma to industry students, specialising in the global business of wine, the UK market, and Bordeaux. Prior to freelance career, was a buyer for many years including for a major high street chain and for a top end traditional wine merchant.

Widely travelled in pursuit of wine knowledge: Australia, Argentina,
California, Chile, Oregon, New Zealand, South Africa, Washington, plus, as an EU citizen, many of the expected European destinations.
